Moog updates – Audiobus 3 update for Moog Music’s classic iOS synths

We are blessed with some wonderful iOS synths apps....  and while iOS music apps have only been with us for a few years, I think there are still a number of candidates that still deserve to be given a 'classic' status. One of those is undoubtedly Moog Music's Animoog. This iOS synth is available in both iPad (UK£28.99/US$29.99) and a streamlined iPhone version (UK£5.99/US$5.99) and, as a 55MB download, would find a home on even the most highly stuffed of iOS devices. Moog have done a great … [Read more...]

Model 15 review – Moog brilliantly recreate their classic modular synth as an iOS music app

If you know anything about the history of analog synths, then you will be familiar with Moog’s prominent place in that story; they built some of the most iconic hardware synths ever made…. and, thankfully, the company is still doing just that. However, they are also a company that, from the outside at least, do seem to move with the times. They have also embraced software synthesis and this … [Read more...]

Model 15 launched – Moog recreate their modular synth as an iOS music app

There are certain music technology names that not only define certain sectors of the market but that are also brands that have reached the wider world consciousness. In terms of synthesis, Moog is one of those brands and their original hardware designs fully deserve their 'classic' status.
