Audio Evolution Mobile Studio update – further updates to well-featured iOS DAW/sequencer

If you look at the desktop marketplace, the world is not short of DAW/sequencer options. And, if the likes of, for example, Cubasis, GarageBand, Auria Pro or Gadget, don't float your particular boat, as I posted a few months ago, there are further options for you to consider including Audio Evolution Mobile Studio. As I discussed in the full review, I was impressed with the basic concept, the conventional design approach (which makes for a modest learning curve) and the sensible core feature … [Read more...]

n-Track Pro updated – n-Track Software’s multi-platform DAW/sequencer gets iOS11 support

While I'm a self-confessed Cubasis fan (and a Cubase user on the desktop), iOS has a number of really good options when it comes to DAW/sequencers. One of those that obviously has a solid user base is n-Track which I reviewed on the blog some time ago. One of the advantages of n-Track is that it is cross-platform; it exists on the desktop (Windows and OSX), iOS and Android. This multi-platform approach might well make it very appealing to some potential users as it means projects can perhaps … [Read more...]

n-Track Pro updated – n-Track Software’s multi-platform DAW/sequencer gets some tweaks

As regular readers here will be aware, my own use for iOS music technology is focused more on music composition and/or music recording than live performance. And, while I'm a self-confessed Cubasis fan (and a Cubase user on the desktop), iOS has a number of really good options when it comes to DAW/sequencers. One of these is n-Track which I reviewed on the blog some time ago. n-Track actually exists on the desktop (Windows and OSX), iOS and Android. Audio Evolution Mobile Studio update – rapid fire tweaks to iOS DAW/sequencer

I posted about another update to Audio Evolution Mobile Studio just a couple of days ago where developer Davy Wentzler had added some minor new features and a bunch of tidy-up style tweaks. As I commented in my original review of the app when it launched for iOS, Audio Evolution Mobile Studio is well worth a look if you have not yet found your 'home' with any of the established iOS DAW/sequencer. As I discussed in the full review, I was impressed with the basic concept, the conventional … [Read more...]

And, if the likes of, for example, Cubasis, GarageBand, Auria Pro of now Gadget, don't float your particular boat, as I posted a couple of months back, there are further options for you to consider. However, I also reviewed another interesting contender that made it's iOS debut quite recently; Audio Evolution Mobile Studio.
