Sugar Bytes giveaway results – one lucky winner of a mega-bundle of iOS music apps

cyclop logoHaving just updated all of their iOS music apps in a couple of batches, last week, those very nice people at Sugar Bytes were kind enough to offer me some copies of their iOS apps to giveaway here at the Music App Blog.

It is quite a prize….   a copy of each of Turnado, Thesys, Effectrix, WOW Filterbox, Egoist and Cyclop to one lucky reader. These apps are all brilliant and I use all of them on a regular basis (as well as the desktop versions of Turnado, Egoist and Thesys).

Cyclop - a mega-mono bass synth on your iPad.

This was, unsurprisingly, a very (very!) popular giveaway. Unfortunately, there can only be one winner….   Anyway, entries closed yesterday and the winning name was drawn at random out of the hat this morning. Again, many thanks also to everyone who entered. The winner should have now received an email with details of how to get hold of the apps within the bundle but, for information, the lucky winner of all this Sugar Bytes goodness was….  short drum roll….

Congratulations to Roger….   Incidentally, if you do appear as a winner in one of these giveaways and you don’t seem to have seen an email from me with the promo code details, then do make sure you check in your junk, trash or spam folders just in case your email system has ‘filed’ the message there :-)

Turnado's main display - plenty going on but very easy to use for real-time processing.

If you haven’t given any of these apps a try yet, then do check out the original reviews (ThesysTurnadoEffectrixWOW Filterbox, Egoist, Cyclop) and the various posts on the previous updates (use the ‘search’ box located top-right to find all the Sugar Bytes related posts). While they are all closer to the top-end of the usual iOS music app price range, I’d have no hesitation is saying they each offer good value.

Effectrix - step-sequencing for creative multi-effects :-)

All these apps do take some learning (although there is excellent PDF documentation) but, if you didn’t win this time around and you have an experimental streak in your electronic music productions, they are all brilliant and very highly recommend.

So, with many thanks to Nadine at Sugar Bytes for putting the prize together, here’s hoping Roger enjoys his new bundle of Sugar Bytes sweetness :-)
