SoundPrism Pro giveaway – 5 promo codes up for grabs

Earlier this week, I reviewed the Synthecaster app which is an interesting example of a performance interface that is designed to capitalise on the iPad’s touchscreen as a way to play a musical instrument but without feeling obliged to follow convention too closely by creating a virtual keyboard, drum kit or guitar-style interface.

There are other apps that fall into the same category (Chordion and Gestrument, for example) but one that I haven’t reviewed yet for the blog is SoundPrism Pro. SoundPrism Pro (UK£5.49) has been around for quite some time and a number of readers have asked me whether I’ve used it and suggested it as a possible review target. I’d played with the app a few times on a friend’s iPad but, having finally got around to getting hold of a copy, I’ve been experimenting with the app in a bit more detail over the last few days and it really is very good, allowing you to create interesting bass/chord/melody MIDI performances that can drive either SoundPrism’s own sound set or other iOS synths.

I’ll write some thoughts for the blog at the start of next week. However, having contacted Audanika to arrange a review copy, the very nice Sebastian was kind enough to also provide 5 additional codes for me to giveaway to readers, so here is your chance to get your hands on a free copy of SoundPrism Pro.

As usual with the giveaways I run on the blog, the deal is simple; get your name in the hat and see if it gets pulled out.

You can enter the draw in one of two ways.

  • First, if you just want to enter this draw, then use the Contact Us page to leave your details before 10 pm (GMT) on Sunday 1st December, 2013. Make sure to enter ‘SoundPrism’ in the message subject line.
  • Alternatively, if you want to get included in this – and every future promo code giveaway run on the site – then sign up for the Music App Blog email list before the deadline. All members of the list will automatically be entered if every draw. You can sign up here and, as a bonus for signing up, you also get a copy of the Music App Blog’s ’25 iOS music apps to get you started’ guide. And if you are already signed up for the email newsletter, then consider yourself entered :-)

As soon as I can organise after entries close, I’ll draw a suitable number of names at random from all those entered. I’ll then notify the lucky winners by email and include the necessary promo code. I’ll also post a list of the winners here. If you are one of the lucky ones, do make sure to use the code ASAP – iTunes Redeem Codes generally have a relatively short life span once they have been issued.

Again, I’ll post a review of SoundPrism Pro early next week but, if you want to be in with a chance of winning a free copy, get in touch or join the email list before the deadline.

Good luck :-)
