I took a look at GuitarCapo+ from Tonapp As a week or so ago. This is an interesting little app which is part virtual instrument (with some similarities to Guitarism) and part chord reference library that is particularly useful for guitar players who like to work with a capo.
Developer Jon-Morten has just had a further update to GuitarCapo approved by Apple. This brings the app to v.2.7 and the key new feature is an update to the very latest Audiobus 2 library. And given that any app now using the Audiobus 2.1 SDK also gets support automatically for IAA (because Audiobus itself now uses IAA under the hood as part of its own engine), GuitarCapo now also has IAA support. Having given the IAA support a quick spin within Cubasis it seems to work very smoothly….
To celebrate the new release, Jon-Morten was been kind enough to provide me with 5 copies of GuitarCapo+ to give away to readers of the Music App Blog. The winning names were drawn at random out of the hat this morning. All the winners should have now received an email with their redeem code details but, for information, the lucky few who got a copy of the app were:-
If any of the winners already have a copy of the app, then please just let me know. I’ll draw a new name and send the code on to someone else who can make good use of it.
Incidentally, if you do appear as a winner in one of these giveaways and you don’t seem to have seen an email from me with the promo code details, then do make sure you check in your junk, trash or spam folders just in case your email system has ‘filed’ the message there :-)
Oh, and if you want to make sure you are entered for all the promo code giveaways that I run through the Music App Blog, then get yourself on the email newsletter list – and pick up your copy of our free ’25 apps’ guide :-)
Here’s hoping the winners enjoy using the app.
