Cubasis giveaway – 5 copies of Steinberg’s Cubasis to be won

Download from iTunes App Storecubasis logo 3As regular readers here will know, I’m a bit of a Cubasis fan. Cubasis offers a slick interface and a well focused feature set that lets you get on with the core tasks of recording and mixing audio/MIDI music productions. And, as a Cubase user on the desktop, for me at least, Cubasis makes a perfect platform for capturing initial ideas that can then easily be moved across to the desktop if they make the grade as something worth developing further.

As I posted a couple of days ago, further updates to both Cubasis and Cubasis LE arrived on the App Store this week taking the apps to v.1.9.9. While the previous update added an important new feature – support for Audio Units (AU) plugins – this is more of a maintenance update with some minor bug fixes (always welcome) aimed are ironing out a few graphical wrinkles and a smoother workflow. The AU support has, however, also enhanced with AU preset systems now being supported.

Cubasis offers a brilliant combination of slick interface and a well-thought-out feature set.

To celebrate the latest update, Stefan Trowbridge and Lars Slowak at Steinberg have been generous enough to provide me with five copies of Cubasis to giveaway to readers here at the Music App Blog. As usual with the giveaways I run on the blog, the deal is simple; get your name in the hat and see if it gets pulled out.

The AU hosting support within Cubasis has now been updated to include presets.

You can enter the draw in one of two ways.

  • First, if you just want to enter this draw, then use the Contact Us page to leave your details before 10 pm (GMT) on Tuesday, May 17th, 2016. Make sure to enter ‘Cubasis’ in the message subject line.
  • Alternatively, if you want to get included in this – and every future promo code giveaway run on the site – then sign up for the Music App Blog email list before the deadline. All members of the list will automatically be entered in every draw. You can sign up here and, as a bonus for signing up, you also get a copy of the Music App Blog’s ‘25 iOS music apps to get you started‘ guide. And if you are already signed up for the email newsletter, then consider yourself entered :-)

As soon as I can organise after entries close, I’ll draw a suitable number of names at random from all those entered. I’ll then notify the lucky winners by email and include the necessary promo code. I’ll also post a list of the winners here. If you are one of the lucky ones, do make sure to use the code ASAP – iTunes Redeem Codes generally have a relatively short life span once they have been issued.

If you can’t wait for the draw to give Cubasis a try, then hit the download button to find out more….. It is priced at UK£39.99/US$49.99 and is, frankly, worth every penny. However, if you want to be in with a chance of winning a free copy, get in touch or join the email list before the deadline.

Good luck :-)

    1. Hi John

Do you think it’s time to introduce a competitive element to your draws? I’m on the mailing list and keep hoping my name will come out of the hat, but surely a lot of time the winners will already own the App? To get the ball rolling here is my answer to the question that hasn’t been asked yet: 57 Hz. Fingers crossed…

      • Michael O'Comain says:

If someone drawn already owns the app, all they have to do is to let John know and he will choose somebody else (speaking from personal experience)!

      • What’s your favourite low-end frequency? :-)

      • … and yes, when I send out the emails to the winners of each draw, if they already own the app then I just give them the choice of passing it on to a friend (which seems to be popular!) or to return to me and I’ll simply draw another name…. :-) Very best wishes, John

    2. I’m putting my ticket in the hat to win Cubasis. Thank you very much
