Auria sale – WaveMachine Lab’s iOS DAW at half-price for holiday week-end

Download from iTunes App Storeauria logo v2If you are fond of a bargain, then today you might not find a better one that WaveMachine Lab’s Auria and Auria LE iOS DAWs. Both of these iOS music apps are currently half-price on the iTunes App Store to coincide with the 4th of July holiday week-end in the USA. Even at full price, Auria is a heck of a lot of DAW at a ridiculously low price – at the sale price it is a complete steal.

As I described in my detailed review of Auria when it was first released, while it doesn’t (yet at least) support MIDI tracks (Auria is an audio-only recording environment although MIDI can be used for various automation tasks) in terms of pure features for audio recording, Auria is undoubtedly the most powerful iOS DAW app currently available. The full version supports up to 48 audio tracks, is bundled with some excellent effects options and also has a wide range of add-on options available through in-app-purchases. The Audiobus and inter-app audio support are also well implemented.

Auria's mixer is very well featured and the app also provides an excellent range of audio effects.

And if you get into the Auria way of working, there are some excellent IAPs that can be added to expand the functionality of the app. These include some excellent PSP and FabFilter plugins as well as the ReTune plugin and the video import add-on. Auria requires iOS5 or later and can (theoretically at least) work on any iPad. An iPad 2 or better is recommended but, obviously, performance will be smoother on newer models.

The sale only last until Sunday July 6th so, if you don’t currently have Auria on your iPad, then this is an ideal opportunity to pick it up – click on the links below and download yourself a bit of a bargain.

    1. Half price, that’s a deal and a half. It’s worth full price any given day. I hope the IAP go on sale sometime again in the near future. I have yet to buy any of them.
